Ingredients For buttermilk chocolate bread

1/2 cbutter, softened

1 csugar
-
2eggs
-
1 1/2 call purpose flour
-
1/2 cbaking cocoa
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1 cbuttermilk
-
1/3 cchopped pecans
- CHOCOLATE HONEY BUTTER

1/2 cbutter, softened
-
2 Tbsphoney
-
2 Tbspchocolate syrup
How To Make buttermilk chocolate bread

1In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar.

2Add eggs; 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Combine the flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder, and baking soda; add to cream mixture alternately with buttermilk.

4Fold in pecans.

5Pour into a greased 9 X 5 X 3 inch loaf pan.

6Bake at 350 degrees for 55 - 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

7Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.

8Mix butter, honey and chocolate syrup; mix well.

9Serve the mixture with the bread.
