I found this recipe on the internet quite a few years ago. I give it as gifts to friends, teachers and coaches along with my peanut butter fudge (Kim's Peanut Butter Fudge).

Ingredients For smoothest chocolate fudge

4 1/2 csugar

1/2 cbutter (1 stick)

12 ozcan of evaporated milk

10 1/2 ozbag of mini marshmallows

12 ozbag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

12 ozsweet baking chocolate or milk chocolate chips

2 ozunsweetened baking chocolate (cut into pieces)

2 tspvanilla extract
-
1/4 tspalmond extract
-
1 cchopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
How To Make smoothest chocolate fudge

1Line 15x10x1 pan with foil, extending over sides of pan; grease foil In a large saucepan, combine sugar, butter and evaporated Milk, cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil uncovered over medium heat without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat.

2Add marshmallows; stir until melted. Add chocolate chips, sweet baking chocolate (or milk chocolate chips) and unsweetened chocolate, stirring constantly until all chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla, almond extract and nuts.

3Quickly spread in prepared pan. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled. Remove fudge from pan by lifting foil. Remove foil from sides of fudge and cut into squares with a long knife (or use specialty cookie cutters) Store in airtight container to retain freshness.
