I found this recipe on a Kraft site and have been making them for several years now. I make these for gifts and special occasions. They're always a hit!

Ingredients For simply sensational truffles

  • WHAT YOU NEED...
  • 2 1/2 pkg
    baker's semi sweet chocolate (20 squares - divided)
  • 1 - 8oz pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • decorations: chopped nuts or sprinkles

How To Make simply sensational truffles

  • 1
    MELT 8 chocolate squares. Follow pkg instructions for microwave, or, melt using double-boiler.

    BEAT softened cream cheese with mixer until creamy. Blend in melted chocolate. Refrigerate until firm.

    SHAPE into 36 balls. (Approx 1") Place on waxed paper covered baking sheet.

    Melt remaining chocolate. Use fork to dip Truffles in chocolate; return to baking sheet. Decorate, then refrigerate 1 hour. TIP: I decorate immediately after dipping each one, before it sets up. You can also use a spot of cake decorator frosting to hold your decorations of choice as well.
