Ingredients For salted peanut chews
- CRUST

1 1/2 call purpose flour

2/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspbaking soda

1/2 cmargarine or butter, softened

1 tspvanilla
-
2egg yolks
-
3 cmarshmallows, mini
- TOPPING
-
2/3 ccorn syrup
-
1/4 cmargarine or butter
-
2 tspvanilla extract
-
1 pkgpeanut butter chips (12oz pkg or 2 cups)

2 ccrisp rice cereal
-
2 csalted peanuts
How To Make salted peanut chews

1Heat oven to 350. In large bowl, combine all crust ingredients except for marshmallows at low speed until crumbly. Press firmly into bottom of ungreased 13x9 inch pan.

2Bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven and bake an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows just begin to puff. Cool while preparing topping.

3In large saucepan, combine all topping ingredients except cereal and peanuts. Heat just until chips are melted and mixture is smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in cereal and peanuts. Immediately spoon warm topping over marshmallows; spread to cover. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into bars.
