Ingredients For rum candied cranberries

1 pkgfresh cranberries

1 bottlespiced rum (can be substituted with a cooled home made simple syrup! see below)

2-3 csugar (or sugar-cinnamon mix)
- *IF YOU CHOOSE TO SUB SIMPLE SYRUP FOR RUM, **SIMMER EQUAL PARTS BROWN SUGAR(2 CUPS) AND WATER(2 CUPS), AND **ALLOW TO COOL BEFORE SOAKING CRANBERRIES IN IT.
How To Make rum candied cranberries

1Put cranberries in a glass (or non-metal) bowl and fill with rum (or cooled syrup). Let soak over night or at least 6-8 hrs.

2Strain small cluster, and roll/toss them in the sugar. You can use a bowl or bag to toss them in, I use a ziplock freezer bag. **Remember-strain & roll small clusters of cranberries at a time**

3Spread the cranberries on a cookie sheet to dry and harden before packing them up.
