This out of our local newspaper, author unlisted. It's just another one of those quacky recipes and I wanted to put it here for safe keeping until I have time to try it.

Ingredients For pinto bean fudge

nonstick veg. spray

2 ccooked pinto beans

1/3 cbutter or margarine

1 cunsweetened cocoa

4 ozunsweetened baking chocolate, melted

1 Tbspvanilla

2 lbpowdered sugar, sifted

1 cchopped pecans or walnuts
How To Make pinto bean fudge

1Spray a 9" x 13" pan or dish with veg. cooking spray. Set aside.

2Mash or puree beans. Add butter or margarine, cocoa, baking chocolate and vanilla.

3Mix in powdered sugar gradually.

4Add chopped nuts of your choice and press into the prepaired pan. Cut into desired pieces and store in the refri.
