Found the basis for my fudge in a 1980's Southern Living cookbook

Ingredients For pecan fudge

1 (12) ozpackage milk chocolate chips

2 (12) ozpackages semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 (7) ozjar marshmellow creme
-
1 cbutter
-
4 1/2 csugar
-
1 (13) ozcan evaporated milk

3-4 cchopped pecans
How To Make pecan fudge

1Combine chocolate chips, marshmellow creme, and butter in a large bowl

2Combine sugar and evaporated milk in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook over med-low heat for 9 minutes, stirring constantly.

3Pour over chocolate mixture, stir until melted and smooth. Add pecans, stir until well blended

4Spread into a prepared pan and chill until firm. Cut into squares and serve Store in a lidded container in refridgerator
