This is a recipe my mother used and her mother before her. You can use a candy thermometer or just test your candy mix in a cup of cold water if you are familiar with that method. I grew up with the cold cup method however since this is usually something I only make at holiday time, I use a candy thermometer on the first batch of the year.

Ingredients For peanut butter fudge

2 csugar

1/2 cmilk
-
2 Tbsplight karo syrup

1 Tbspbutter
-
1 cpeanut butter, creamy or crunchy, your choice
How To Make peanut butter fudge

1Prepare a pie or dinner plate by buttering or spraying with non stick spray

2In a sauce pan Cook the first four ingredients to soft ball stage and remove from heat

3Stir in the peanut butter until mixed then pour into your buttered/sprayed plate

4Cool and cut
