Ingredients For peanut butter balls (buckeyes)

  • 3 c
    peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1 1/2 lb
    confectionary sugar
  • 1/2 lb
    butter,or margarine, room temperature
  • 18 oz
    chocolate chips (any flavor) (or the block melting chocolate sold in many grocery stores)

How To Make peanut butter balls (buckeyes)

    Combine the first three ingredients completely
  • 2
    Form into small balls the size of walnuts and refrigerate for 1 hour
  • 3
    Melt chocolate in a double boiler
  • 4
    Dip the peanut butter balls into chocolate leaving a small portion of the peanut butter exposed and place on waxed paper

    Refrigerate until firm
