This it the best recipe- it was given to me over 49 years ago, by a very old friend , it was his mother's recipe.

Ingredients For mrs. wilson's boston creme candy

3 cgranulated sugar

1 chalf and half

1 stickbutter

1 clight corn syrup (i use karo)

1 pinchsalt

1 cchopped walnuts
How To Make mrs. wilson's boston creme candy

1Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, except nuts. Cook to it forms soft ball( 236^) on candy thermometer)or when tested in cold water. Remove from heat and cool 10 minutes or so. Add nuts; beat until stiff and has lost it's gloss. Pour onto a buttered platter. Refrigerate until set.

2If you don't want to use a buttered platter, you can pour into a buttered parchment paper or buttered waxed paper lined pan- makes it easy to remove and cut when set.
