My mother got this recipe from her sister, a favorite Aunt of mine named Juanita who lived in Dallas, Texas for years. My Mother made this fudge for the four of us children and I have made it so many times for my two sons, siblings and grandchildren. It is so yummy!!! I named it Love.

Ingredients For mother's love fudge

1 stickbutter

2 Tbspcocoa powder
-
1/2 cevaporated milk

2 csugar
-
1/4 ckaro

1 tspvanilla

1 dashsalt

nuts, optional
How To Make mother's love fudge

1Melt butter over medium heat and add cocoa, remove from heat

2Add evaporated milk, sugar and karo

3Bring to a boil over medium heat

4Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes

5Remove from heat and add vanilla

6Hand beat until smooth and mixture begins to make a popping sound and begins to thicken.

7Optional: Mix in chopped pecans, walnuts or peanut butter

8Pour into buttered platter and allow to set.
