Mom liked this recipe for fudge. Its easy and never fails. We had it every year at Christmas time when I was growing up. It was a real treat.

2/3 ccarnation evaporated milk

1 2/3 csugar

1/2 tspsalt
-
1 1/2 cmini marshmallows

1 1/2 cchocolate chips

1 tspvanilla extract

1/2 cchopped walnuts, optional
How To Make mom's christmas fudge

1Place milk, sugar, and salt in medium saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients and continue stirring until marshmallows and chocolate are melted and mixture is well combined.

2Pour into a buttered 9 by 9 inch pan. Cut in squares when cooled a bit, but still warm. Do not remove from pan until completely cooled. Then cut again on same lines and enjoy!
