This recipe is from my sister in law who recently passed away. She was an excellent cook and a wonderful person. I miss her alot.

Ingredients For maple cream bonbons

  • 1 c
    butter softened
  • 31/2 c
    confectioners sugar
  • 3 tsp
    maple flavoring
  • 2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 2 c
    semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    butterscotch chips

How To Make maple cream bonbons

  • 1
    Cream the butter, sugar and maple flavoring till smooth.

    stir in walnuts
  • 3
    Shape into one inch balls, place on cookie sheets covered with either waxed paper or tin foil.

    Freeze until firm
  • 5
    In microwave or heavy saucepan melt the chips.

    Carefully dip the balls in melted chip mixture and place on wax paper or foil lined baking sheets.

    Refrigerate till hardened.

    Store bonbons in refrigerater.
