My maternal grandmother, Lola* Abeng, had Alzheimer's Disease. She passed away on February 9, 2010 at the age of 93. When she was much younger, Lola Abeng and Lolo Kiko divide their time among their children and grandchildren. I was always excited and happy when they stay with us. Lolo* Kiko loves telling stories and playing games with me, while Lola Abeng assumes all my household chores, makes these tasty truffles for me, and gives me the most amazing foot and back rubs before bedtime. This recipe can be adjusted according to your taste. Hope you enjoy my Lola's legacy. *Lola is Filipino for grandmother *Lolo is Filipino for grandfather
