Kaye is my Sister - a wonderful cook. She made this candy 30 years ago. It was a favorite for Christmas. I am making a custom Valentine Box Cake, with this as the candy. The "box" is a heart shaped red velvet cake covered with buttercream & topped with fondant. The candy sits on top.

Ingredients For kaye's candy

2 croasted pecans

1/2 lbsweet flaked coconut

4 cconfectioners' sugar

1 Tbspmilk
- CHOCOLATE COVERING

10 ozpure chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

1/2cake of parrifin wax

melt chocolate with wax
How To Make kaye's candy

1Roast the pecans at 170 for 10 minutes. (roasting brings out the natural oil). let them cool

2Add all ingredients to Food Processor & pulse until mixed. Don't overwork.

3Form into balls. Chill while you melt the chocolate.

4Either dip the candy or pour and let dry on waxed paper.
