Ingredients For haystacks

  • 3/4 c
    evaporated milk
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 6 tsp
    corn syrup, light
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 3 c
    coconut

How To Make haystacks

  • 1
    Mix the first four ingredients together. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar disolves.

    Bring to a boil over medium heat to soft ball stage stirring constantly.

    Once at soft ball stage, remove from heat and add 3 cups of coconut and mix well. Drop by teaspoon full onto wax paper on a cookie sheet. Store in the fridge.
