Ingredients For glass candy

  • 4 c
    sugar
  • 2 c
    white corn syrup
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/4 tsp
    flavoring (your choice)
  • food coloring (as desired)

How To Make glass candy

  • 1
    Combine sugar, syrup and water. Boil until mixture reaches 300 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat. Add coloring and flavoring as desired. Pour into (ungreased) cookie sheet. Let cool. Crack with back of table knife. Store in a cool, dry place. Candy pieces can be sharp.
