As the oldest of six children, we didn't get alot of treats. Life was just the basics, but at Christmas this was a cheap and wonderful treat for us kids plus we got to help.

Ingredients For edible christmas wreaths

  • 4 Tbsp
    butter softened
  • 30 lg
    marshmallows
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • green food coloring
  • 7 c
    corn flakes
  • cinnamon red hots

How To Make edible christmas wreaths

    Melt butter on stove top, and add marshmallows
  • 2
    Add vanilla and food coloring until desired color.
  • 3
    Stir in corn flakes and remove from heat.
  • 4
    Butter hands and shape mixture into wreaths and place on wax paper. Place red hots for holly decoration. Make sure to work quickly or the mixture will set up.
