I remembered a favorite dessert from elementary school and searched the Internet until I found similar recipes. This is my compilation of what I found. I find it very near what I was remembering.

Ingredients For cornflake clusters

1 cgranulated sugar

1 ccorn syrup, light

1/8 choney
-
1 1/2 cpeanut butter
-
2 Tbspbutter
-
1 tspvanilla extract

4 - 5 ccornflakes
How To Make cornflake clusters

1Place sugar, corn syrup, and honey in saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil while constantly stirring. Remove from heat after one minute boiling.

2Stir in peanut butter, butter, and vanilla extract. Return to heat and stir constantly while bringing back to a boil. Watch closely as it soon begins to stick and scorch.

3After the mixture comes to a full boil, pour over cornflakes and mix well.

4Drop by hefty spoonfuls onto foil lined pans and allow to cool completely. ENJOY! !
