THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE FUDGE RECIPE. I LIKE TO MAKE IT WITH MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS. THE CARAMEL MAKES IT A LITTLE DIFFERENT.

Ingredients For carols chocolate caramel walnut fudge

  • 3 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips -[18 oz.]
  • 1 can
    sweeten condensed milk -[14oz.]--[not evaporated]
  • dash
    salt
  • 1 c
    walnut pieces, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

    FOIL LINE AN 8 OR 9 INCH SQUARE PAN.

    IN A SAUCEPAN, OVER LOW HEAT, MELT THE CHOCOLTE CHIPS WITH THE SWEETENED MILK AND DASH OF SALT.

    REMOVE FROM HEAT; STIR IN THE WALNUTS, CARAMEL TOPPING AND VANILLA.

    SPREAD EVENLY INTO THE SQUARE PAN.

    CHILL 2 HOURS OR UNTIL FIRM.

    TURN FUDGE ONTO A CUTTING BOATF; PEEL OFF FOIL AND CUT INTO SQUARES.
