Blue Ribbon Recipe

When the holiday season arrives, we can't wait to buy peppermint bark. With this recipe, we can make this holiday treat at home. It's easy to prepare and sets up in no time. We love the festive green coloring added to the melting chocolate. This is so good, you can make it for different events throughout the year by using different color food coloring. Candy canes can be hard to come by year-round, so feel free to use crushed peppermints instead. The bark will still have a crunchy texture and peppermint flavor. Make a batch for a hostess gift during the holidays or a takeaway at your family meal.
