Ingredients For black forest fudge

  • 1 (12) oz
    pacages of milk chocolate chips
  • 2 (12) oz
    packages of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (7) oz
    jar of marshmellow creme
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 4 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 (13) oz
    can evaporated milk
  • 3-4 c
    chopped pecans
  • 2 c
    dried cherries
  • 1 tsp
    cherry extract

How To Make black forest fudge

  • 1
    combine chocolate chips, marshmellow creme, and butter in a large bowl
  • 2
    Combine sugar and evaporated milk in a heavy sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook over medium low heat for 9 minutes stirring constantly
  • 3
    Pour over chocolate mixture, stir until melted and smooth. Add pecans, cherries, and extract, stir until well blended
  • 4
    Spread into prepared pan and chill until firm Cut into squares and server Store in lidded container and refridgerate
