These nuts are great for gifts. Just put in a pretty tin and my friends love them.

Ingredients For candied nuts

2 cgranulated sugar

1/2 cwater
-
1/4 tspground all spice

2 tspground cinnamon

1/8 tspground nutmeg

1 tspvanilla

4 cpecans or almonds
How To Make candied nuts

1Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease (I spray pan with Crisco),set aside. Combine sugar and water in medium sauce pan, bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium. Combine cinnamon, all spice, and nutmeg in small bowel. Add spice mixture to sugar mixture, mix well. Continue stirring about 5 minutes, add vanilla and nuts. Immediately pour onto pan. Cool 5 minutes and pull nuts apart into individual pieces. Cool completely.
