I like pears but they seem so hard in the grocery store. I decided that I would use fresh pears in this homemade cake. It is both light and moist, spicey yet pear-y, and altogether remarkable. It keeps well but I warn you that it doesn't last to long.I made this up and I hope you like it.

3 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking powder

3 cthinly sliced pears, cored and peeled

1/2 cgolden raisins
- CONFECTIONER'S SUGAR GLAZE

1 1/4 csifted confectioner's sugar

2-4 Tbspmilk
How To Make zelda's fresh pear cake

1Cake: Combine sugar, eggs, and oil. Beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt.Add to sugar mixture, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, Pears, and raisins. Turn into wellgreased 10 inch Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour Remove from pan and allow to cool.Pour Confectioner's sugar glaze on top. Glaze: Combine sugar and milk, blending until smooth.
