A dear friend and former Dean of Students from my college days gave me this recipe. It is by far the tastiest pound cake I have ever eaten!

Ingredients For whipping cream pound cake

  • 2 stick
    margarine
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 3 c
    plain flour (sifted)
  • 6
    eggs
  • 1/2 pt
    whipping cream
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make whipping cream pound cake

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

    Cream margarine and sugar.
  • 3
    Add eggs one at a time, beating between.
  • 4
    Alternate adding flour and whipping cream.
  • 5
    After completely mixed, add vanilla.
  • 6
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.

    As soon as removed from oven , turn out of pan and flip once so top side is up.
