  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    grated lemon zest
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    cognac
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    dark raisins
  • 1/2 c
    yellow raisins
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts

How To Make walnut cake (karithopeta)

    Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and lemon zest together.
