I am not normally a fan of chocolate cake because they are usually dry. This recipe is incredibly moist and delicious and super easy

Ingredients For vi's black oil cake

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    boiling water
  • 1 c
    buttermilk

How To Make vi's black oil cake

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except boiling water, and mix well.

    Add boiling water

    Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan
