I used to make this recipe into banana bars using a 15-in.x 10-in. x1-in pan. But recently made it and didn't have that size pan anymore so I used a dirrernt size pan and it made a wonderfully rich dense cake that my husband really likes.

1-1/2 cripe bananas, mashed, about 3 medium

2 call-purpose flour

How To Make vanilla frosted banana cake

1In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well.

2Pour into greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. Frost when completely cool.
