Ingredients For upside-down brownie cake

  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1-1/4 c
    boiling brewed strong coffee

How To Make upside-down brownie cake

    Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 9" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, cream together 3/4 cup sugar and butter. Beat in milk and vanilla.

    In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and 3 tbsp cocoa powder. Add flour mix to butter mix and beat until combined. Spread batter in pan.

    In medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and remaining cocoa powder. Sprinkle mix over batter. Pour coffee evenly over top. Bake 30 mins.
