I saw a similar recipe on a video and I tweaked it a bit, adding my own flavor frosting. It's very tasty and versatile.

  • CAKE
  • 1 can
    frozen lime juice or other juice (12 oz), thawed
  • 1 box
    angel food or white cake mix
  • FROSTING
  • 1 pkg
    banana instant pudding mix
  • 1 or 1-1/2 c
    Cool Whip

How To Make two ingredient cake with two ingredient frosting

  • Baked cake ready to be frosted. It looks burnt but it really is not.

    To make the cake, pour lime juice into a 9x13" cake pan. (There's no need to grease it.)

    Pour the cake mix directly over the juice.

    Stir the two ingredients together until they are thoroughly mixed and thickened.

    Bake in a preheated 325 degree F oven for 50 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before frosting.

    To make the frosting, prepare pudding according to package directions in a large bowl.
  • Mixing two ingredients for frosting.

    Fold the Cool Whip into the pudding and blend thoroughly.
