I figure that if you can make turtles into a candy bar you can make them into a cupcake. Also I do everything the semi homemade way.

Ingredients For turtle cupcakes

  • 1 box
    favorite chocolate cake mix
  • 1 c
    coffee, room temperature
  • .50 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3
    eggs
  • 3 jar
    carmel sauce
  • 3 can
    chocolate frosting
  • chopped walnuts

How To Make turtle cupcakes

  • 1
    line cupcake pans for 24 cupcakes with liners. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2
    Mix cake mix according to directions but replace water with coffee. Fill cupcake pans 2/3 full. Bake 22 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

    With a knife cut a hole in the middle of each cupcake. Fill with caramel sauce
  • 4
    Frost each of the cupcakes with chocolate frosting.
  • 5
    Roll in chopped walnuts.
