This is a 3 milk cake and is delicious. It is also easy breezy to make, thanks to Betty Crocker. I first had a version of this in Houston, Texas, and it is wonderful. I've made different versions of this and everyone who has tasted it loved it. I hope you enjoy.

Ingredients For tres leches cake

  • 1 box
    betty crocker super moist yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 can
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1 c
    whipping cream
  • 1 can
    betty crocker whipped fluffy white frosting

How To Make tres leches cake

    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray bottom and sides of 13x-9inch pan.

    In large bowl beat cake mix, water, oil, vanill and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bow occasionally. Pour into pan

    Bake as directed on box. Let stand 5 minutes. Poke top of hot cake every 1/2 inch with long-tined fork, wiping for occasionally to reduce sticking

    In large bowl, stir together sweetened condensed milk, canned milk, and whipping cream. Carefully pour evenly over top of cake. Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour or until mixture is absorbed into cake. Frost with frosting. Store cover in fridg.
