I don't make this very often, but when I do, there is never any left. Very light and satisfying. A gourmet dessert that you can make at home.

Ingredients For toffee tiramasu

1 mdpound cake, like saralee

1 1/2 cstrong brewed coffee
-
2 pkgcream cheese, 8oz (room temperature)

1/2 stickbutter or marg. (softened)

2 csugar
-
1 cchocolate syrup
-
1 mdcontainer of cool whip

4 mdtoffee bars ( finely chopped )
How To Make toffee tiramasu

1Slice poundcake into nine slices, and layer in a large glass dish or baking pan

2Sprinkle with coffee

3Beat with electric mixer, the cream cheese, butter, sugar and chocolate syrup. Spread on top of cake.

4Spread Coolwhip on top of cake and sprinkle with toffee candy Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
