I am not sure where this recipe came from, as I have had it for years! This cake is easy to make, and very tasty! If you like p-nut butter fudge, you will LOVE this icing! I hope you enjoy it.

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

2 stickmargarine or butter

1/2 csmooth peanut butter

1 cwater

2eggs

1 tspvanilla

1/2 cbuttermilk
How To Make texas sheet cake-p-nut butter

1Sift into bowl the sugar,flour, soda, and salt. Set aside. Bring to a boil the butter, peanut butter and water. Pour over the flour mixture, mixing well. Beat together eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. Add to flour mixture mixing well. Pour in a greased 18x12 cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15-18 minutes

2Frosting: 1 stick butter 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter 6 Tablespoons buttermilk 1 box powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla

3Bring 1st three ingredients to a boil until all is melted, then add powdered sugar (sifted) and add the vanilla mixing well. Pour over hot cake! Let cook completely after you pour on the frosting
