This yummy cupcake filled the Test Kitchen with the comforting aromas of autumn! They're bursting with cinnamon and pumpkin pie spices. These cupcakes are moist with a slight crunch from the walnuts. The cream cheese frosting is perfect on top. No one will believe these started with a boxed mix... they taste like they're from scratch. Delicious!

Ingredients For tasty autumn cupcakes

1 boxgolden vanilla cake mix, prepared as directed & uncooked

1 cpumpkin pie mix

1/2 cbrown sugar

2 cchopped walnuts, divided by half

2 Tbspcinnamon, ground

1 pkgcream cheese frosting
How To Make tasty autumn cupcakes

1Combine cake batter and pumpkin mixture in large bowl, mixing well.

2Add cinnamon, 1 cup walnuts & brown sugar, mixing well.

3Spoon into cupcake liners about 2/3 full. Bake at 375 until toothpick comes out clean.

4Let cool, and frost generously. Sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
