How To Make taste a rainbow holiday cupcake
-
1Prepare your favorite white cake mix, then divide batter evenly into 6 small plastic bags. Using the chart above to make the colors or your own drop amounts.
-
2Place the recommended drops for each color into separate bags , close and smash around to blend color into batter.
-
3Line 16 to 24 muffin pan wells with paper baking cups, then spray very lightly.Cut a small corner off the bag and evenly distribute the purple batter among the cups, then the blue, and so on. As you go, gently spread each layer of batter with the back of a spoon to cover the color underneath. When all colors have been layered ; take a toothpick to the center of the cupcake to almost the bottom and gently swirl from center to outside like a cinnamon roll. Wipe pick off for each cupcake.
-
4Bake for 18-22 minutes. Cool on wire rack. For a dramatic effect remove papers when cooled and top with frosting.
