I create this new cake recipe for the fans of Girl Scout cookies, combining Tagalongs and Thin Mints.

Ingredients For tagamints layer cake

1 3/4 ccrushed Girl Scouts tagalongs cookies, divided

1 3/4 ccrushed Girl Scouts Thin Mints cookies, divided

1 pkgwhite cake mix (18.25 oz)

1 cwater

1/3 cvegetable oil

4egg whites
-
1 ccrunchy peanut butter
-
1 Tbspmalted milk powder
-
1/2 cmilk chocolate chips

3/4 cchocolate syrup
-
2 tspmint extract
- TAGALONGS FILLING
-
1 cheavy cream
-
1/2 cchocolate milk
-
3/4 ccreamy peanut butter
-
3/4 cvanilla Greek yogurt
- THIN MINTS FROSTING
-
1 tubefrozen whipped topping, thawed

8 ozcream cheese, softened
-
1packet instant chocolate pudding mix
-
3/4 cchocolate hazelnut spread
-
1/2 cchocolate syrup
-
3 tspmint extract
How To Make tagamints layer cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

2Sprinkle 1 cup crushed Tagalong cookies on one cake pan and sprinkle 1 cup crushed Thin mints cookies on another cake pan.

3In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil and egg whites with an electric mixer at low speed for 5 minutes until moistened. Beat 3 minutes on high speed.

4Divide the batter among the cake pans.

5Add the peanut butter and chocolate chips into the Tagalongs pan and mix together.

6Add the chocolate syrup and mint extract to the Thin Mints pan and mix together.

7Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted the center comes out clean. Cool completely for 5 minutes.

8To make the Tagalongs filling, combine heavy cream, chocolate milk, peanut butter and Greek yogurt in a medium bowl and whisk together until blended. Set aside.

9To make the Thin Mints frosting, combine the whipped topping, cream cheese, chocolate pudding mix, chocolate hazelnut spread, chocolate syrup and mint extract in a large bowl and mix together until smooth and creamy.

10Place the Thin Mints cake on a serving plate. Spoon Tagalongs filling on top and spread in a thick layer. Sprinkle with remaining crushed Tagalongs cookies.

11Place the Tagalongs cake on top of the Thin Mints cake. Spread the frosting on the top and sides of the cake and sprinkle with remaining crushed Thin Mints cookies. Refrigerate overnight.
