My daughter Becky received this great cookbook from our friend, Mary Johnson. This was the first recipe she made out of it... and it was definite hit!

Ingredients For swedish pineapple cake

2 cflour

2 csugar
-
1 cancrushed pineapple with juice (20 oz. can)

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla

1/2 cchopped pecans

1 stickmargarine, melted

8 ozcream cheese, softened

2 cpowdered sugar
How To Make swedish pineapple cake

1In a mixing bowl, combine first six ingredients, mix well.

2Spray a 13" x 9" pan with vegetable spray. Pour batter into pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until done.

3For frosting, in a mixing bowl combine melted margarine, softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix well then spread frosting over warm cake.
