supreme lemon pudding cake

I love all the refreshing lemon cakes but I really wanted one that was also kind of rich, so I tweaked one of my earlier lemon cakes and came out with this and even people that don't seem to like lemon, love this!

Ingredients For supreme lemon pudding cake

  • 1 box
    lemon cake mix, without pudding mix
  • 2 box
    instant lemon pudding mix
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 2 c
    cold milk
  • 1-1/4 c
    water
  • powdered sugar for dusting

How To Make supreme lemon pudding cake

    Heat oven to 350. Lightly spray a 9" x 13" pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, beat cake mix with what's called for on the box.

    Pour cake mix into pan. In medium bowl, whisk pudding mixes, milk, sugar and water until smooth. Spoon evenly over top of cake batter. Place pan on a lg cookie sheet, ( to prevent over spill.)

    Bake about 50 mins, use a toothpick inserted into center of cake, it should come out with a little pudding, but no cake on it. If it does, it's done. Cool. Dust the top w/ powdered sugar.
