Ingredients For streusel coffeecake

32chips ahoy chocolate cookies, divided

118 to 18.5 oz. package yellow or white cake mix

1/2 csour cream

1/2 cpecans, chopped

1/2 ccoconut
-
1/4 cbrown sugar
-
1 tspground cinnamon

1/3 cmargarine or butter, melted

powdered sugar glaze, optional (your recipe)
How To Make streusel coffeecake

1Coarsely chop 20 cookies; finely crush remaining 12 cookies and set them aside.

2Prepare cake mix batter according to package directions; blend in sour cream. Stir in chopped cookies. Pour batter into greased and floured 13x9 inch baking pan.

3Mix cookie crumbs, pecans, coconut, brown sugar and cinnamon; stir in melted margarine or butter. Sprinkle over cake batter.

4Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool completely. Drizzle with your favorite powdered sugar glaze if desired. Cut into squares. Makes 24 servings.
