Ingredients For strawberry upside down cake

  • 1 1/3 c
    flour
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    soft butter
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar

How To Make strawberry upside down cake

    In a 9 x 13 cake pan pour 2Tbsp of melted butter and spread it over the bottom. Then sprinkle 1/2 c packed brown sugar over the butter. The slice enough strawberries to cover the bottom of the cake pan placing them on the butter and brown sugar. Set aside.

    Then in a bowl combine all remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.

    When the batter is ready spoon it over the strawberries and bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees. Let is stand for about five minutes after you bring it out of the oven then on a platter flip the cake onto the platter. Serve with Whipped cream or Ice cream your choice
