Ok so I was looking for something yummy to make with this ingredients: Banana pudding, coconut milk, yellow cake mix and strawberry pie filling...My friend Pat Duran [kitchenchatter] came up with a great recipe Called "STRAWBERRY COCONUT FRUIT CAKE" So as I was making it I made a couple of boboos and came up with this recipe and well by accident made it my own. She thought of this name for my recipe!! "Strawberry Surprise Cake" You would never guess there would be crunchy part in this oh so creamy and delicious cake!! WARNING!! IF YOU CAN'T EAT SUGAR PLEASE DON'T MAKE THIS!! OR MAKE IT BUT DON'T IT IT ITS SOOOO YUMMY!!. Sinfully YUMMY!!

Ingredients For strawberry surprise cake____bebita

  • 1 can
    strawberry pie filling
  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1
    8 oz tub of whipping cream thawed
  • 1 pkg
    8 oz cream cheese softened need to be very soft or it will not be smooth...
  • 1 pkg
    4 oz cream cheese to mix with whipped cream
  • 2 pkg
    3 oz instant banana pudding
  • 1 pkg
    3 oz strawberry jello
  • 1 can
    coconut milk, unsweetened
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • REMEMBER YOU WILL NEED A 8 OZ CREAM CHEESE AND A 4 OZ CREAME CHEESE

How To Make strawberry surprise cake____bebita

    Heat oven to 350^. Butter bottom only of 9x13-inch pan. Pour strawberry pie filling in bottom of pan and spread out evenly.

    Sprinkle whole box of cake mix dry over berry filling. Drizzle melted butter over cake mix. Bake in oven for 30-35 minutes.

    Bake in oven for 30-35 minutes.

    While cake is baking: In a mixer bowl combine instant pudding and coconut milk, beat until blended, add softened cream cheese (PLEASE MAKE SURE CREAM CHEESE IS VERY SOFT) and beat until very smooth. Refrigerate until cake is done and cake is completely cooled. Spread on completely cooled cake.

    Add SOFTENED cream cheese to whipped cream and mix together until soft. Add over pudding and refrigerate for about an hour or 2.. Cut and enjoy!! NOTE I myself left it over night!
