this is a great cake it's easy and simple to make my sister loves this for her birthday so every year i make this for her and make one for everyone else too

Ingredients For strawberry sheet cake

  • 2 c
    self rising flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 c
    canola oil
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    sweetened strawberries, mashed
  • 1 sm
    box dry strawberry jello
  • STRAWBERRY ICING
  • 1/2 stick
    butter, softened
  • 3 to 4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c
    sweetened strawberries, mashed

How To Make strawberry sheet cake

    Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased 9x3 pan.

    Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

    While the cake is baking, make the icing.

    Mix together all icing ingredients until smooth-may need to add more powdered sugar or strawberries for a spreading consistency. Mix well first before you ass extra sugar or strawberries.

    Once the cake is cool, spread the icing on the cake.

    Store the cake in the refrigerator, it's best when it's chilled for at least 2 hours.
