My husband & I ran a grill & I made this cake & it might last thru the day. Our customers loved it & so does my family. It is very moist & delicious.

Ingredients For strawberry pecan cake

1box white cake mix (i use duncan hines)

4eggs
-
1/2cup milk (i use evaporated)

1cup coconut
-
1box strawberry jello
-
1cup frozen strawberries
-
1/2cup crisco oil
-
1cup chopped pecans
- TOPPING AND FILLING:

1stick butter
-
1/2cup drained strawberries (save juice)

1/2cup pecans
-
1box confectioners sugar
-
1/2cup coconut
How To Make strawberry pecan cake

1Mix all cake ingredients. Bake in 3 layers at 350 for 20-30 minutes. Oven temps vary.

2Topping and Filling: Cream sugar and butter, adding other ingredients. Add juice from strawberries if needed. I used all of mine. I don't like it real thick because its too hard to spread on cake. Spread on cake and enjoy.
