This recipe belongs to my son's mother-in-law, Constance. It is so good and refreshing plus a beautiful cake. I have made it myself a few times and find it to be very easy to make. Peggi Tebben has provided us with a pic since she made it a couple of days ago. She did a great job, too.

Ingredients For strawberry nut cake

1 boxduncan hines white cake mix

1 smbox strawberry jello (dry)

1 smbox vanilla instant pudding mix

1/2 ccanola or vegetable oil

1 stickbutter, softened

1/2 cmilk (i use 1%)

4 mdeggs
-
1 cfresh (or frozen) strawberries, chopped

1 cchopped pecans
- ICING:

16 ozpowdered sugar
-
1 stickbutter, softened
-
1/2 cfresh (or frozen) strawberries, chopped

1/2 ccoconut
-
1/2 cchopped pecans
How To Make strawberry nut cake

1CAKE: Mix all ingredients and bake in three 9" floured and greased cake pans at 350 for 25 - 30 minutes. Cool in cake pans for 10 minutes, remove and cool completely before frosting.

2ICING: Mix all ingredients together and spread between, on sides and top of cooled cake layers.
