Ingredients For strawberry cake

  • 1 box
    white cake mix
  • 1 box
    strawberry jello
  • 1 c
    sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 c
    strawberry juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour - i use self rising
  • 1 c
    crisco oil
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • ICING
  • 1 box
    powdered sugar
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    strawberries
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • make icing thick enough to spread on cake, strawberry juice can be added to thin

How To Make strawberry cake

    NOTE: I use frozen strawberries that have been thawed, and drained to have the juice.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Mix all ingredients together
  • 4
    Pour into prepared cake pan. You can use a 9 X 13 or 2 - round cake pans
  • 5
    Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes. Or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Allow cake to cool.

    ICING: Mix all ingredients together. If needed you can add some Strawberry juice to thin some.

    Spread on cool cake, and ENJOY!!
