Ingredients For sponge cake

  • 6
    eggs
  • 1/3 c
    water
  • 2 c
    sugar or( splenda sugar and 1tsp. stevia)
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt or light salt

How To Make sponge cake

  • 1
    Separate eggs and stir yokes just enough to break skins. Add water, stir in sifted sugar.

    Beat until thick and lemon-colored. Sift flour several times; add. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into ungreased loaf pan.

    Bake for about 60 minutes.
