Ingredients For spicy pumpkin cake

1package yellow cake mix

18.5 oz can applesauce

1 ccanned pumpkin

3eggs
-
1/4 cmilk
-
1 1/2 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspnutmeg

1/4 tspground cloves
-
1/2 capples peeled and finely chopped

1/2 cchopped nuts
- TOPPING (OPTIONAL) YOU CAN ALSO USE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

1 cwhipping cream

2 Tbsphoney

1/4 tspcinnamon
How To Make spicy pumpkin cake

1Preheat oven to 350. Grease and lightly flour a 13x9 pan. Combine cake mix, applesauce, pumpkin, eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Beat on medium speed for about 2 mins. Fold in apples and nuts. Spread in pan. Bake for 35-40 mins. until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

2To make the topping; beat whipping cream, honey and cinnamon until soft peaks form. Spread over cooled cake. This cake is also good with a thin layer of cream cheese frosting or just plain cool whip as well!
