We always have bananas around-use them on cereal, smoothies in the summer, banana nut bread in the winter-this is a 'company-coming' version of the bread that's really delicious, and the cream-cheese frosting brings it over the top!

1/2 cbutter, softened

2 csugar

3eggs
-
1 1/2 cmashed bananas (3)

1 tspvanilla extract

2 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspnutmeg & cinnamon

1/2 cchopped pecans
- CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

1/2 cbutter, softened

8 ozcream cheese, room temperature

4 cconfectioners' sugar

2 tspvanilla extract
How To Make spiced banana bars

1Cream butter & sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas, and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, & pinch of salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well.

2Pour into greased 15 x 10 x 1 pan. Bake at 350* for 30 mins or until bars test done. Cool.

3Frosting: Cream butter & sugar, gradually add confectioner's sugar & vanilla. Beat well, spread over bars.
