Ingredients For southern chocolate pudding cake

  • 1 box
    chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/3 c
    canola oil
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • ICING
  • 1 can
    condensed milk
  • 16 oz
    can chocolate syrup
  • 8 oz
    container of koolwhip
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make southern chocolate pudding cake

    CAKE: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all cake ingredients in a bowl and beat well. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Do the toothpick test to make sure it is done.

    ICING: Mix condensed mix and chocolate syrup in a small bowl. Pour over cake and let it soak in. Refrigerate for several hours. Spread whipped topping over cake and top with chopped pecans.
